‘Tis the Season of Service Campaign

Season of Silent Struggles: Veterans and the Holidays. The United Relief Foundation’s “Tis the Season for Service” Campaign is an annual outreach effort that begins on Veterans Day, November 11, and continues through December 31. For more than 20 years, the Foundation has remained committed to its “One Mission. To Make a Difference!” by remembering, honoring, and helping veterans in need.

As part of the campaign’s Veterans Day commencement activities, the United Relief Foundation sponsors and co-sponsors meals for veterans as a meaningful way to honor their service and sacrifice. Throughout the campaign, the Foundation, either directly or through its United in Service partners, provides practical support to veterans in need that can make a tangible difference in their lives.

Care, Comfort, and Compassion Lifelines

Lifelines for the most vulnerable veterans: the United Relief Foundation responds to veterans facing significant barriers to assistance, including limited financial resources, transportation challenges, and physical disabilities that prevent them from receiving a lifeline in their time of need.

A Lifeline of Care: Meeting immediate needs by providing veterans with hygiene products, food, clothing, and other basic essentials that preserve dignity and support wellness.

A Lifeline of Comfort: Helping veterans obtain safe housing and improve their living environments, creating a foundation for stability and hope.

A Lifeline of Compassion: Standing beside veterans during difficult times, providing assistance and support that helps them overcome personal hardships, restore self-sufficiency, and move forward with confidence.
