Rush Road Home Program

THE NATIONAL CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES AT RUSH

The Road Home Program: The National Center of Excellence for Veterans and Their Families at Rush provides confidential support, counseling and veteran health services to help veterans and their families understand, heal from and cope with the invisible wounds of war, at no cost and regardless of discharge status

A team that understands

The Road Home Program has a team of professionals who understand what you’re going through. Many involved with the program are veterans, so they know the struggles of reintegration.

Their team includes trauma psychologists, social workers, traumatic brain injury specialists, and child psychologists,  providing confidential, compassionate counseling for individuals, couples, children, and families.

A lifeline for families

When men and women serve in the armed forces, their whole family serves. That’s why the Road Home offers care and support to veterans’ families, including spouses, children, siblings, parents, significant others and caregivers.
Family members can receive treatment at the Road Home even if their veterans choose not to get help at this time.
