United Relief picks food pantry

in Mount Prospect for efforts
 

The United Relief Foundation's "Stock the Shelves" initiative encourages people, organizations and businesses to join the Lifeline of Hope and Help in keeping food pantry shelves stocked for individuals, single parents and families in their time of need.

Based in Mount Prospect, URF has selected the village of Mount Prospect's Human Services Food Pantry as the 2007 pilot program for Stock the Shelves.

All donations are appreciated. however, those who bring a donation of at least 10 cans (10 ounces of more) of undamaged food or two unopened packages of disposable diapers to any Stock the Shelves Founding Sponsors Location will receive one appreciation certificate.
